"I've come to the end of the programme now and wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your help and to give you my feedback.

Having struggled previously, I found the programme very helpful in exploring and 'pinning down' my skills and interests and this has given me greater insight into what I want from a job/career. It has been helpful listening to the experiences of others. I have decided for now to focus my efforts on looking for new roles similar to the one I currently hold but give me the opportunity for greater learning and to move into training others. My line manager has offered to help me in this and I plan to use her as a resource. In some ways my current role does actually satisfy some of the things I seek in a job and on a good day I feel I make a positive contribution - the course has helped me recognise that. I also liked the wide spectrum of people who contribute with a wide variety of perspectives on the meaning of success. It doesn't promote any particular viewpoint either so it's helpful in getting the viewer thinking more widely - it isn't trying to guide you to a conclusion. As a result of the e-course I'm currently looking at more roles to apply for and excited about a change for 2010!"
